Players should participate in our Winter Training Academy
for any of the following reasons;

• I am a NEW player to Western WA Surf SC and want to be considered for a spot on my birth year team for the upcoming Spring Season 2025
• I am a current Surf player that wants to keep training in the off-season to stay fit and develop my skills
• I am a beginner player that wants to learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun, positive environment.

Participating players will join Western WA Surf SC Head Coaches in technically-focused training sessions that will help them develop and stay sharp in the off-season.

Any player looking to join a team for Spring Season 2025 will be assessed over the duration of the Winter Training Academy and offered a spot on the appropriate level team (based on availability & current stage of development).

Players will be divided into groups based on age and skill level, and then will begin circuit training run by the coaching staff. Stations will include 1v1 attacking and defending, SAQ (Speed, Agility, Quickness), passing/receiving, and small sided games.
