A Standout Addition to Our Staff:
Neko Young
Western WA Surf SC Snohomish Premier Location Director

Neko Young

We’re thrilled to welcome Neko Young as our Snohomish Premier Location Director!

Neko Young, originally from Anchorage, Alaska, has an impressive soccer background. He played four years of collegiate soccer at Chemeketa/Shasta Community College and concluded his playing career at Cal State Stanislaus. But his involvement in soccer didn’t stop there. Young transitioned into coaching, starting with his first head coaching job at the East Valley Earthquakes. He led various teams within his club, coaching both boys and girls. Later, he entered the high school game, coaching varsity soccer for four seasons at Enoch’s High School in California.

Young’s commitment to grassroots development was evident when he founded and directed his own recreational soccer league in Riverbank, which ran for eight seasons and impacted hundreds of kids. His coaching abilities caught the attention of the San Jose Earthquakes affiliate, where he served as Director of Coaching for five years.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Snohomish Premier Location Director, Neko Young continues his legacy of growing youth soccer programs here at Western WA Surf SC. His responsibilities include guiding the strategic direction of our programs in Snohomish and growing our impact as a premier club in the Western Washington region.
