Players have 24 hours to accept or decline their offer. After 24 hours, the spot will be offered to another player, and once the roster fills, the offer will no longer be available.

Yes, and if a player wishes to try out for both the Elite program and Premier teams or for multiple Premier locations, they must register separately for each tryout. To register for tryouts, visit: Western WA Surf 2025-26 Tryouts

To be considered for a spot on a team, the minimum requirement is to attend one tryout session. Attending more sessions increases their opportunities for selection. To register for tryouts, visit: Western WA Surf 2025-26 Tryouts

Elite teams train three times per week. Premier teams train twice per week.

A player may be considered to play up an age group if they are to be a starter on that team. If a player is not projected to be a starter, they will remain in their appropriate age group.

Players are not permitted to be dual-rostered with another club. This policy ensures that players are fully committed to their WW Surf team, allowing coaches to plan effectively and ensuring players are fully available for practices, games, and other team activities.

Players must arrive early for check-in. Proceed to the WW Surf main check-in tent to confirm registration. Get a headshot photo taken and receive an assigned bib number. After the headshot, players can proceed to the field to warm up before the tryout begins.

Offers can be made at any point during the tryout process. Offers will be sent via BYGA (Our Youth Sports Club Management Software) to the primary registered email account (parent/guardian’s email). Please ensure you check both your inbox and spam/junk folders to confirm that the email is received. It’s important to monitor all email accounts provided during the tryout registration process, as offers may be mistakenly filtered into these folders.

If you have a scheduling conflict with a tryout session due to State Cup or other tournaments/commitments, please inform the club as soon as possible by emailing [email protected].

If a returning player already has a jersey number, they will retain that number. A new player joining the team must select a different number if the same number is already taken by a returning player, even if they previously had that number.

Example: If Player A is a returning player on Team A and has jersey number 10, they will retain that number. If Player B is a new player joining Team A and previously had number 10, they will still need to select a different number since Player A already has it.

We anticipate releasing the season outlines and coaching assignments no later than April 1st on our website.

WW Surf follows a two-year uniform cycle in partnership with Nike. Players are required to have three kits:

  • Home and Away Game Kits – These alternate on a two-year cycle, meaning one game kit is updated each year.
  • Training Kit – This changes annually.

New players must purchase all three kits to match their team.

Returning players will need to purchase the next uniform refresh (updated game kit for that year’s cycle and the new training kit).

Yes, we offer financial assistance for families in need. If you anticipate requiring support for the 2025-2026 club fees, we require you to submit a Financial Aid Application for review when registering for tryouts. To register for tryouts, visit: Western WA Surf 2025-26 Tryouts

Yes. The tryout period marks the start of a new soccer year, and all players, including returning WW Surf players, are required to attend tryouts.

Players should come prepared with soccer cleats, shin guards, and athletic clothing appropriate for training and the weather conditions. They should also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Soccer balls will be provided at the tryout sessions.
